Data Deletion Policy & Instructions
At GiftPo, we believe you should have complete control over your personal information and gift data. If you no longer wish to use GiftPo, you can permanently erase your account and all associated records at any time.
How to Delete Your Account and Data in the App
You can instantly initiate complete account and data deletion directly from inside the GiftPo mobile app:
- Open the GiftPo app and ensure you are logged in.
- Tap on the Settings tab from the bottom navigation bar.
- Scroll down to the account management section and tap Delete Account.
- Read the warning confirmation dialog and tap Confirm Deletion.
What Data Gets Deleted?
Upon confirmation, your data is immediately and permanently purged from our active databases, including:
- Your profile information (display name, email address, avatar photo).
- Your authentication tokens and session credentials.
- All gifts you have logged, created, sent, or received, including photos and personal notes.
- Friend connections and interaction histories.
Please note that data deletion is irreversible. Once confirmed, your gift ledger and memory history cannot be recovered.
Manual Deletion Requests
If you have uninstalled the app or cannot log into your account, you may submit a manual data deletion request:
Email our support team at jhuppoapps@gmail.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" from the email address associated with your Google/GiftPo account. We will process your deletion request within 7 business days and confirm upon completion.
